Today we decorated Belle's garden for Mother's Day. Pretty and girlie for my pink baby girl. We've added flowers, windmills, butterflies, a cute elephant and this...

Well we've spent all day looking at and trying out different highchairs! I had no idea this would be such a complicated task! Talk about stressing to get it right! 

We finally decided on this one! It is a bit boring and dull to look at, but functionally it is nearly spot on for the requirements we had set!

Xander has been such a spoiled boy this weekend. Thank you so much to anyone who bought him a gift or gave him money yesterday; really generous and a bit unexpected just how many presents he's had! Wow; we're going to be opening presents all week! 

Xander is really getting the hang of opening presents now compared to Christmas time! Here he exploring one of his presents today, concentrating really hard! After we took the picture he enjoyed helping me grab hold of the paper and rip it open!

We have been playing Jon's birthday Lego boardgame!  Jon built a cannon. My brother Danny decided to 'shoot' (aka; throw) bullets out of the cannon. What is it about Lego that turns grown men into small boys!?

Cradle Cap

The baby's cradle cap is bothering him; he is scratching at it and made his head bleed this morning. So with a bit of guidance from my pink place I discovered cradle cap shampoo today. Dentinox.

First treatment tonight and its taken off loads of the cradle cap, but lots more of his already thinning beautiful hair with it. Sad face!

Still we reckon his hair will grow back really blonde by the looks of things!

A Lego Birthday

Jon has had a very happy birthday! Distinctly themed by Lego; Lego presents, Lego shopping and now Lego building. As he said this morning "I am officially an AFOL, an Adult Fan Of Lego" so he is pretty thrilled and in his element all around really.  31 years old you say?!

Having a Cut

Because it doesn't happen very often; here is my husband after having a haircut and shave! Infact, today on March 4th is the first time he's cut his hair or shaved his face this year!!! (and it wasn't even a clean shave!) 

You should have seen the state of him this morning pre-cut!

So this is what my living looks like these days! It was small to begin with; now it is a lot less living room and a lot more soft play! Xander's very own little Toys 'R' Us!  Thank goodness the swing folds away hey?!  

I don't really mind though; my house has been taken over by my baby and I'm loving it! As long as he is enjoying himself that is alright with me!
